A great day on the lake was shared by 6 sailors, with Roger Paul and Graeme Howie making the trip down and joining in
Conditions were SouthWesterly at middle to top of A rigs all day, and the shifty conditions kept everyone on their toes!
The racing was generally tight, and at times only 20 seconds separated first to last boat across the finish line.
It was noticeable many times off the start line that there was very little difference in speed or height between boats, and the day really was won by he who minimised his mistakes, which today was displayed perfectly by Roger Paul, winning the day from Cliff Davis and Graeme Howie.
Thanks to our club members who were there, with special thanks to Graeme and Roger for driving down and joining in with us, and also to Corrie Schutte who just came for a look but was fully prepared to get his hands dirty and help out those with boat issues where he could.
Thanks everyone and we look forward to doing it all again with our next scheduled handicap event on February 2nd.
