We were hoping the reported 30knot seabreeze would develop this afternoon, it didn't!
All but one intrepid sailor rigged with A Rig and it looked like Cliff was on a winner, the remainder of fleet awaiting the 'blow', not tempted to change.
Cliff skipped away with 3 bullets, but accrued a decent handicap which put him back in the pack. Sailing was very even as the results show, a number of skippers winning races.
Lex had a very consistent day and got the chocolates, Cliff and Peter sailing a close series for second and third.
Jason sailed fast all day and showed some nice speed over the course. Ken had brace of seconds and thirds. It was difficult to determine who finished where until the scores were tallied here.
Ian battled away all afternoon, finishing with a Bullet and 2 seconds for the day.
Special thanks to Ken again for the throw-in buoys, tent and scoring sheets and start box.
See you all in a fortnight. Don't forget the IOM States in Walpole are on 30th/ 31st October 2021,
