Looking like the last day before a cold front arrives in Perth.
Skippers were met with a 15 knot Northerly, which was gusting to 20 knots at times.
We set a windward return course for the day.
First decision of the day was whether we could manage A Rigs in the gusting conditions, we punted on the big rig and it proved the right one. We did bury the noses on the yachts a few times downwind, but not enough to go 'screaming' to the sai lbox for a change in rigs.
Today was close and tight sailing all afternoon 3 skippers recording 3 bullets each, so as the scores show, the podium being separated by only 3 points.
Congratulations and well sailed to Chris Aberle on his first position, followed by Peter and then Ian, sailing his newly acquired Woody V8, his new boat looked balanced and fast.
