The weather forecast indicated the fleet would be greeted with 25-30 knot Westerlies,
Well sadly that wasn't the case and all but one sailor started on A Rigs. It would be fair to say as the 'fronts' crossed the coast during the afternoon there were plenty of A Rig 'bow downs", so much so, that those with B Rigs dropped to that Rig at about the half way mark.
We had a fleet of 5 boats expecting a testing B or C Rig afternoon. Whilst the breeze didn't reach the forecasted heights of 30 knots, we had a great sailing afternoon.
The two new life jackets were placed in the trailer along with our new first aid kit. Thanks to RSAWA for providing this new equipment.
Our podium was Ian, Peter and Chris, well sailed.
