The day started with a relatively constant 5 to 6 knot North Easter.
That wasn't too bad to get a course for on our lake, but later the breeze swung to the North and North West, which required some creative course laying thinking. We finished up with a triangular course just to get some length in it, but another enjoyable day to be on the water.
Jason got his new Hornet (pictured) on the water eventually so missing some early races cost him on the score sheet. He's still got a few things to iron out rig wise, but what a stunning looking boat brilliantly finished off. A true work of art from the local builder Steve Walton.
Thanks to those who came along and also to Lex for the use of his gear for the day.
